This is an exciting opportunity for a Crew Logistics Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for the placement of event crew at weddings, festivals and events across Cornwall and Devon, and all related administrative tasks. This opportunity combines an administrative role with a hands on approach, that requires excellent communication skills including both written and personal communication. As CLC you will provide a first point of contact for our team of casual event crew, with clear and concise communication via app, text, email and phone. Responsibilities:
- Working off the event calendar to manage the jobs board and add upcoming event staffing requirements to the crew app
- Manage logistics to fulfil all event staffing requirements and create the most skilled and cost effective team for each event
- Offering first point of contact for crew with clear and concise communication via app, phone, text and email.
- Creation of detailed bespoke briefing documents for all team members prior to each event
- Manage end of week report, calculating weekly hours worked and mileage costs
- Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective internal systems
- Responsible for flagging any capacity issues and planning solutions with the rest of the management team.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience within a recruitment/event staffing role would be beneficial
- Precise and comprehensive written communications and IT skills
- Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with crew, other team members and external partners.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Programmes (Drive, Google Docs/Word, Google Sheets/Excel )

Job Type: 30 hours per week including weekends, within hybrid Office/WFH setting

Salary: £18,000.00 per year
