Welcome to Serve.

Here at Serve, we pride ourselves on the quality of our services and our personal approach to event staffing. We absolutely love the buzz of working in the events industry, and understand all of the thrills and challenges that come with organising, running and working at a variety of different events and locations. Behind the scenes, our team is made up of event professionals; between us we have expertise in wedding planning, event co-ordination, festival logistics and bar management.

We are extremely proud of the diversity and skillsets of our crew. We ensure that from their initial skills assessment through to being on site at an event (and beyond!) our crew feel valued, listened to and supported. Our goal within the hospitality industry is to disrupt traditional ways of working. We provide flexible hours and the ability to self-manage shifts through the app. The work we offer is fun and varied - our staff can utilise a range of skills in amazing locations.

Meet the Team.

    Rachael

I am the proud Founder & Managing Director of Serve Cornwall & Serve Devon.

I love events, I love people and I love it when a plan comes together. It was important for me to create a company that worked around me and my family.

My aim has always been to create a fun and flexible way of working, to offer a positive work-life balance to others and continue to provide an approachable, bespoke and professional hospitality service for our wonderful clientele.

Serve Cornwall and Devon Business Development and Operations Manager

I love working with our wonderful clients to make sure that we are providing the best service possible, and visiting some amazing locations in the process. I have worked in staffing since I graduated from my Business degree, starting with large outdoor events like Boardmasters where I oversaw hundreds of bar staff across the site. When I moved to London I managed a variety of high-profile clients including Kensington Palace and the Royal Academy of Arts. I love the variety that event work brings, and the huge amount of interesting people that you get to meet along the way.

  • Alisha

    Serve Cornwall Event Staffing Manager

I have been a crew member for Serve since day one. I have loved meeting new people, working in the most beautiful locations and building my skills in hospitality - it is such a fun way to learn!

I went to study Business and Events Management at UWE, but university wasn't for me. Soon after returning to Cornwall, Serve were looking for a trainee manager and I jumped at the opportunity! I have now worked my way up as the Event Staffing Manager for Serve, loving every minute of it and excited for what's to come.

Serve Cornwall and Devon Recruitment Manager

I have always preferred working in admin role positions. After having my two beautiful girls, I decided that dental nursing wasn’t the right path for me so started working in the hotel industry. I was then offered the opportunity to join the Serve HQ team - it was a dream come true.

I also have a small business specialising in bridal hair. I love to work in the wedding industry as I not only visit some incredible wedding venues, I get to meet beautiful brides and explore Cornwall in all it’s beauty.

Serve Cornwall and Devon Accounts Manager

I have spent many years working in pubs, restaurants and hotels whilst completing my accounting qualifications. I’ve seen the highs and the lows of working in the hospitality industry, and I enjoy working with others to help them succeed and thrive. Combined with my experience in various accounting roles, I have a great understanding of the needs of our teams and our clients.

I was first introduced to Serve when I became part to the crew and grew my knowledge of the hospitality industry. I paired this with my love for music events and recently graduated from my degree in Sustainable Festival Management. I recently completed a MsC Entrepreneurship to expand my knowledge in business and I use these skills to be able to provide the best service for our clients.
